METEORA
The Meteora (Greek word, its meaning: “suspended in the air”) is one of the most famous places to visit in Greece. We offer a full-day bus tour to the monasteries built on giant rocks and being referred at as one of the seven miracles of the World. The beauty of the monasteries “floating between the earth and the sky” enriches us with a unique experience. It is still part of our programme to visit an icon-painting workshop, where we will be informed about the old techniques these icons connected to the Orthodox religion are being prepared with. After this we will visit two more monasteries. Our journey will drive us through the Tempi Valley and the great Mount Olympus will also be touched.
Children under the age of 6 can travel for free!
